Over their first 20 years, pop-rock trio HANSON, made up of brothers Isaac, Taylor and Zac Hanson, have made a significant mark on the music world. Five years building a fanbase as a local independent band led to a major label deal and a meteoric rise with the 1997 international smash single MMMBop, from their debut album Middle Of Nowhere. A long line of hits, four more studio albums, multiple Grammy nominations and over 16
million album sales followed. Over their second decade, the band has charted their own course running an independent label while maintaining a coveted connection with their global fanbase, and in 2007 they launched a grassroots campaign to support poverty and HIV/AIDS relief in Africa, TakeTheWalk.net.

Since the release and world tour behind 2013's acclaimed sixth studio album ANTHEM, the band has been earning more accolades, including writing, producing and collaborating with other artists. Recent collaborations include the song 'Top Of The World' which was produced and co-written with Blues Traveler and released in Spring 2015, and the infectious pop song 'Unbelievable' performed with Owl City. The band also began an
entirely new endeavor - their own craft beer company Hanson Brothers Beer, which launched in Spring 2013.

The band recognized early on that longevity could not be built without building community with their fanbase, which they have focused on strengthening through special music released directly on their website, unique fan focused events like their destination concert Back To The Island and tours like the upcoming 10-city Roots And Rock N Roll Tour, starting October 7th. The tour features two nights in 10 major cities, cultivating a deeper musical experience for fans by focusing on a night of rare songs and fan favorites spanning their six studio albums, and a night of cover songs by artists who have influenced them. The band will also be merging the worlds of music and craft beer by launching their flagship pale ale, Mmmhops, in many of the cities on the tour.

"This tour is all about celebrating our musical journey, starting with a night of cover songs that have inspired us, followed by a night of rare tunes and fan favorites. Each night will be a totally unique experience," said Isaac Hanson.

The band's most recent studio release ANTHEM, which they wrote and produced, was recorded the old-fashioned way - live, in one room. The album captures the essence of the soulful trio, highlighting their signature harmonies merged with harder hitting arrangements featuring funk inspired horn stabs and blistering
guitar riffs.

ANTHEM comes out of the gate with the bluesy bite of 'Fired Up' and unstoppable grooves like 'I've Got Soul' and 'Tragic Symphony' and the epic 'You Can't Stop Us'. The album's debut single 'Get The Girl Back' highlighted the influence of 60's Soul and Rock 'n' Roll, captivating fans and critics alike. The cinematic music video featured the band alongside an ensemble cast of their friends led by actress/writer Nikki Reed (Thirteen) and Kat Dennings (2 Broke Girls, Thor), Drake Bell (Drake & Josh), Paul McDonald (American Idol), Drew Seeley (Another Cinderella Story), and newcomer Alex Beh. "It has that vibe of a big, sweaty rock show that you'd want to be at," Taylor Hanson says. "The video invites people into the first chapter of a story that we hope inspires everyone to want to stick around for more."

Also featured on 'Get The Girl Back' are friends Michael 'Fitz' Fitzpatrick and Joe Karnes, from Los Angelesbased Indie Soul band Fitz And The Tantrums. "It's hard to find bands whose sound and aesthetic is similar to ours," Zac says, "But we connected on a love of '60s soul and pop".

For 23 years the three brothers have focused on the love of their craft, buoyed by an independent spirit which has allowed them to navigate the changing music business without sacrificing the quality of their work or their coveted relationship with fans all over the world. This fall's Roots And Rock N Roll Tour celebrates that strong foundation musically, and sets the stage for new projects on the horizon.
